Our story
Twelve years of Bristol pipework
Northline Plumbing & Heating was started by Chris Marlow in a rented unit in Bedminster. The plan was simple: turn up when we said we would, quote before starting, and leave the place cleaner than we found it.
That plan turned into a team of six engineers, four vans and roughly 400 jobs a year — from emergency call-outs on Clifton terraces to full heating systems in new builds out at Yate. We still work the same patch, and most of our work now comes from people who called us once and kept the number.
We are deliberately small. It means the person who quotes your job is usually the person who turns up to do it, and you never have to explain your property twice.

Four rules we do not bend

Price it fairly
Same rates for cash customers as for letting agents. No inflated parts margins, no small-print extras on the invoice.
Leave it tidy
Dust sheets down, tools tidy, floors swept. You should be able to use the room the moment we drive off.
Answer the phone
Nothing erodes trust faster than an unanswered call. Our office team replies to every message the same day, including weekends.
