No surprises

What can move a price, and how we handle it

Plumbers who quote blind tend to add extras later. We would rather explain the variables up front so the invoice matches the quote.

Access and pipework

A tap that is easy to reach costs less than one behind a fitted unit or under a tiled floor. We confirm this on arrival.

Parts you choose

We quote two options where it matters — a like-for-like replacement or an upgraded part with a longer warranty.

Time of day

Evenings, weekends and bank holidays carry an out-of-hours rate, always quoted on the phone before we set off.

Scope changes

If we find something unexpected mid-job we stop, explain it and re-quote. Nothing is added to your bill silently.

Emergency pricing, up front

Out-of-hours call-outs start at £139 for the first hour. We always confirm the rate on the phone before an engineer leaves the yard.

Pricing questions we get asked most

Do you charge for call-outs or quotes?

Quotes for installation work are free. Repair visits carry a fixed £89 first-hour rate which we tell you before booking, and parts are always approved by you first.

How quickly can you get to an emergency?

Our average arrival across Bristol is around 60 minutes for a burst pipe or no-heat call, 24 hours a day. You speak to a plumber on the first call, not a script.

Are you Gas Safe registered and insured?

Yes. Every gas engineer on the team is Gas Safe registered, and we carry £2m public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.

Which areas do you cover?

Bristol and the surrounding towns — Bath, Keynsham, Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead, Thornbury and Yate — plus anywhere within roughly 20 miles of Bedminster.

Do you offer emergency cover at weekends?

We run an on-call rota for weekends, bank holidays and overnight emergencies. Out-of-hours rates are quoted on the phone before an engineer sets off.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card, bank transfer and cash, taken on completion for repair work. Larger installations are invoiced with a deposit to secure parts and a balance on handover.
